Bailey was falling asleep on the bus at 3:00pm, as you can see we have had a hectic couple of days! Even though it has been hectic, it has been very very enjoyable. Yesterday was all about seeing the city, organizing tours for later days, and doing a little bit of shopping. The cable cars are something we used frequently, the same public transport that was used in the 1800's. We visited Pier 39 again though the street artists weren't their unfortunately.
Today was huge! We got up early to do an open top bus tour of the Golden Gate Bridge and the surrounding areas. An area on the other side of the bridge is an area called Sausalito, one of the richest, secluded areas close to a city I have ever seen. Every house had 3 cars, (at least). First was the expensive sports car, Ferrari, Masserati etc. in the garage. Next was the luxury vehicle, Range Rover, Chevy Monaro etc. Last was the 'project car', an old bomb that makes the other two cars look good.
After we had finished that tour we were straight onto an open top double decker bus for our next tour, a tour of down town San Francisco. Not as good as the first one but still terrific! We got off just before the tour finished at a stop that was the start of our last tour, the 'Park Tour'.
The Park Tour was a tour of 'Gold Gate Park'. The word park doesn't do it justice, as it has 22 different sporting complexes, 3 museums and thousand of trees (none of them native to the area - as SF has no native trees)! We then went to Pier 39, and an artist did a graffiti art painting for me. After we had finished we went and had dinner at our favourite restaurant - Denny's!
Gonna try and get a good nights sleep, Alcatraz tour tomorrow.

I hope you remembered the camera!!! :)
